We’ve all seen that email sent to us by our newbie friends. You know – the one about how we tell people how old we are or how we tell people how old our children are. When children are infants we say they are, for example, “10 months old.” When they are a little older the kids may say they are “free”. We look forward to milestones along the way. To becoming a teenager, getting our drivers licence and being able to go to a nightclub or casino. Later we turn forty or fifty, reach sixty and so on. The one I like the most is when we say we’re six and a half. We were excited about what lay ahead. In the spirit of that feeling I named this blog “Fifty and a Half”.
